History

A place that becomes complete only with our family and friends - just like our lives. We created the Pine Boutique Inn to become a real community space. A place where quality time is spent together and the love of contemporary design, gastronomy and art infuses the air as the space becomes its own isolated, yet complete little world. A gem at the very top of the northern shore of Lake Balaton, only 50 minutes away from Budapest.

The pines in the garden have magical powers: while they provide a cool shade in the summer heat, they also symbolize warmth and togetherness - not just on festive occasions. As stable observers of our rushing world, they urge their guests to slow down and dive into authentic experiences: a walk on the High Shore, a bike ride to the Kisfaludy Lookout Tower, family celebrations or cooking with friends using the Big Green Egg in the garden kitchen and experiencing fresh, local flavors from around the Lake Balaton. At Pine Weekendhouse, we combined a cozy, familial environment with a high level of service from private shopping and dinners prepared by a private chef to personalized activities: babysitting, children’s programs with an animator, sauna, massage, and yoga sessions upon request. Our goal is to give you the opportunity to do one thing: Be present, live & share moments.
